Long-term plans of the Iranian Neuroscience society include:

• Exchanging of knowledge with other domestic and foreign neuroscience societies.
• Communications and cooperative activities with governmental and non-governmental organizations related to basic and clinical neuroscience such as neurological rehabilitation centers.
• Policy-making in the field of neuroscience through collaboration with the Board of Neuroscience in the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.
• Holding a national scientific competition in the field of neuroscience.
• Launching a virtual network of all academic and private research centers to link basic and clinical knowledge of neuroscience.
